Overlay for twitch stream1/9/2024 ![]() ![]() All I know is you should have both NPAPI and PPAPI both installed and that should cover u for Steam Client. Some are saying that Steam is now using the one made for Chrome (PPAPI) due to changes Valve has made to what Steam Client uses for it's integrated web browser so again I'm not 100% sure. It may have changed, but in past years it has always required the one used for Firefox, regardless of you having that Browser actually installed or not, that version of Adobe Flash PlugIn was required for Steam Client App. Where as with say XP/Vista/7, IE still relies on the Flash for IE "ActiveX" to be installed for IE to have Flash capabilities.īut again, the one for IE is not what Steam Client uses. If you have Win 8/8.1/10, those are still needed, however it just so happens that the one for IE "ActiveX" does not apply to those because since those OS, Microsoft is responsible for the handling of Flash for IE, and IE Updates handle/dictate that version for IE. ![]() Just that u had to ensure those 3rd party Adobe Flash PlugIns (I forgot which one exactly, as I always ensured all 3 are installed and kept up to date) were installed for anything Flash to work within Steam Client, as the same applies for the need of Flash Video to work when you are in Steam Client and wish to view Video Content that is on a Steam Store Product Pages. I have used the Web Browser within both Steam In-Game Overlay and/or within BigPictureMode and never had an issue. Well I don't see what could be the issue(s). ![]()
